Southern Door beat Algoma 66-50 in a boys Packerland Conference basketball game on Friday Night. The Eagles (9-1, 14-3) closed the first quarter on an 11-0 run and never trailed the rest of the game. Mitchel Neubauer, who came into the game with 997 career points, had an early FG and would later add a free throw for 1,000 career points. Nick LeCaptain had 16 points for Southern Door, Neubauer added 13 and Lance Klaubauf 12. The Wolves (6-4, 12-4) were led by Andrew Gorz with 13 points. Algoma hit 10 3 pointers in the game.
