Sturgeon Bay’s Nate Anschutz harvested perhaps one of the largest whitetail bucks ever taken in Door County. Anschutz’s trophy buck tallies 19 points with a 19 1/4″ inside spread that weighed 190 pounds. Nate said that the buck was chasing three does and stopped right in front of him. The buck was green scored at 196. There is a 60 day drying period once the antlers are cut off by a taxidermist before an entry can be officially measured for the Pope and Young Club.
