Sturgeon Bay won at Chilton on Saturday while Kewaunee County beat Northern Door in Baileys Harbor on Sunday.
Sturgeon Bay scored 5 runs in the second inning on their way to a 6-2 win on Saturday. Mitchel Neubauer pitched the first five innings for the win with Riley Cordier working the final two innings for the save. Chase Mickey and David Van Dreese had 2 run singles and Casey Giesseman homered for the Bays. Van Dreese, Neubauer and Jason Lindemann all had 2 hits.
Kewaunee County got a complete game effort from Trevor Kinnard and 3 hits from Calvin Falk on their way to a 7-4 win on Sunday Night. Tanner Biwer and Cody Giesseman had 2 hits for the Chiefs. The Lakers (4-0) lead the Fox River Valley East Division.
