Kewaunee County will take on Waterford at the Class AA American Legion baseball tournament at Athletic Park in Merrill at 5:00 this afternoon as the tournament has been delayed by rain. The Lakers (18-1) advanced through the Region 4 regional in Luxemburg by beating Ashwaubenon and Pulaski twice and are in the State Tournament for the first time since 2013. Waterford won the Region 7 regional in Union Grove by beating the host team twice on Friday and are in the State Tournament for the third straight year. Waterford lost 6-4 in the state title game to Menasha last season.
