Kewaunee County beat Northern Door, 7-6, in a Fox River Valley East Division American Legion baseball game in Luxemburg on Thursday. The Lakers scored in every inning and had six different players drive in a run. The Chiefs took a 4-2 lead in the top of the third inning as Quinn Schram had a bases clearing double and Joe Burlo followed with an RBI single. But the Lakers tied the game in the 4th inning and took the lead for good in the 5th. Sam Kohnle doubled to lead off the inning and later scored on an RBI sacrifice fly by Logan Brusky. Ethan Schleis picked up the win for the Lakers and Jake Thyes earned the Save. Schram finished with four hits to lead Northern Door while Connor Brennan and Nathan Ewaskowitz also drove in runs and Will Hartmann scored twice.
