Ahnapee beat Gibraltar, 4-1, in an American Legion baseball game at Memorial Field in Sturgeon Bay on Tuesday. Tyler Kroll pitched a complete game 3 hitter for the Trailblazers and finished with nine strikeouts. Ahnapee scored all four runs in the second inning as Isaac Berkley hit a two run double while Charlie Neinas and Adam Gutschow added RBI singles. Luke Steebs allowed only four hits in six innings for Gibraltar.
Gibraltar will play a doubleheader at Northern Door on Tuesday, July 9 and we are scheduled to broadcast both games on WDOR.
