St. Norbert College placed three women’s basketball players on the 2015 All-Midwest Conference team, announced today by the league office.Sophomore guard Jill Kleiman was the Green Knights’ lone first-team selection. St. Norbert coach Connie Tilley garnered her seventh MWC Coach of the Year honor.Kleiman, who helped Kewaunee win back-to-back State Championships, is averaging 9.4 points, 3.6 rebounds, 3.2 steals and 3.1 assists per game this season.
The Green Knights enter Friday’s NCAA Division III Tournament first-round game against Luther College in St. Paul, Minn., at 22-3 overall, and won their fifth MWC championship in six years with a 17-1 league record.
