The Kewaunee girls basketball team opened their 2015-2016 season with a 55-27 win over Gibraltar Friday night. Leading by nine at halftime, the Storms defense stiffened as they allowed ten second half points, outscoring the Vikings by 19. Last year’s leading scorer in the Packerland, Brooke Geier, led Kewaunee with 20 points. Angie Kudick added 12. Lauren Kita had nine points to pace Gibraltar.
