Kewaunee County fell to 1-1 at the AA American Legion state baseball tournament in Merrill as they lost to Antigo Thursday, 11-10. Down 11-6 after four innings, the Lakers rallied and cut the deficit to one heading to the top of the seventh. Austin Tlachac doubled with two outs and Kyle Routhieaux was intentionally walked to put two on, but Jake Thyes flied out to end the game. Routhieaux hit a solo home run in the loss. Routhieaux, Tlachac, Mitch Jandrin (2 RBI), and Anthony Otradovec all had two hits. Jordan Jorgensen added a run-scoring single. Travis Reimer allowed an uneraned run in three and a third innings. Kewaunee County will take on Beaver Dam in an elimination game at 1 PM Friday. You can hear that game on 93.9 FM WDOR and wdor.com.
