The 35th annual Kewaunee/Door County salmon tournament begins its nine day run this Saturday, July 22nd. Tournament organizer Kevin Naze says that last year’s tournament was bigger that ever before….
One of the main rules of the tournament is that every person on the boat must purchase a ticket before going fishing. Tournament tickets are priced at $25 for the entire tournament or $13 for a single day and are available at Jungwirth Ace Hardware in Sister Bay, Kaps Marina on Washington Island, Baileys 57, Algoma BP, Kewaunee Marina and Lakeshore Lighthouse and at the Greystone Castle and Howie’s Tackle in Sturgeon Bay.
