Roncalli rallied from a 3-2 deficit and scored single runs in the fifth and seventh innings to beat Gibraltar, 4-3, in a WIAA Division 3 regional final baseball game at Billerbeck Field in Fish Creek on Wednesday. The Vkings took their first lead in the third inning as Anthony Laughlin hit a two out RBI single followed Casey Weddig’s RBI double. The Jets tied the game on a double steal in the fifth inning and scored the winning run in the seventh on an RBI single from Mason Hrudka that scored Evan Jageman. Brett Bahrs struck out 15 in a complete game win for Roncalli while Weddig and Connor Brennan had two hits each for the Vikings. Roncalli, regional champions for the first time since 1991, will play Markesan at 9:30 Tuesday at Ripon.
