Jacksons Lead Clippers

Sturgeon Bay won their third conference game in four tries with a 12-5 win over Algoma at Memorial Field on Tuesday.  Freshman Mitchell Jackson worked 5.1 innings of relief for the win and older brother Ryan Jackson finished with three hits (2 doubles) and three runs driven in.  Jared Van Bramer (2 RBI), Anthony Moore (2 RBI) and Jaeger Brusky all had two hits and Austin Lardinois was on base four times and scored three runs.  Trevor Haasch doubled twice and Alex Dellis had two hits for the Wolves.  The Clippers pulled away from a 3-3 game with three runs in the second inning and five more in the fifth.  Sturgeon Bay will play at Southern Door on Thursday (WDOR).
