Algoma’s Stuart Robertson was the top finisher at the 100th running of the WIAA State Cross Country Meet, which was held in Wisconsin Rapids Saturday. Robertson finished 29th in the Division 3 boys race with a time of 17:19.91. Gibraltar’s Sam Kordon finished 47th in the Division 3 boys race. Kordon had a time of 17:32.92. Gibraltar’s Clarissa Jauregui took 33rd in the Divsion 3 girls race. Jauregui finished in 16:07.95. Luxemburg-Casco had three runners at state. Kyle Sampo finished 62nd and Shane Peronto was 81st in the Division 2 boys race. Sampo had a time of 17:23.92 while Peronto finished in 17:35.31. The Spartans Breanna Suess took 43rd in the Division 2 girls race. She finished in a time of 15:53.38.
