The Packerland Conference has a rule that schools can only play league opponents from counties where the risk level is low or medium, so what does that mean for football, volleyball and cross country athletes at Southern Door?
The potential problem for Packerland Conference sports moving forward is that there are schools in five counties (Door, Kewaunee, Brown, Oconto and Marinette) so the DHS risk levels in those counties need to change before those teams would be allowed to compete….
Sevastopol, Southern Door, Algoma and Kewaunee will be competing in all fall sports while Gibraltar and Sturgeon Bay will have cross country teams and the Clippers will also compete in golf and swimming. The first scheduled Cross Country meet is September 17.
