Casey Giesseman belted a home run and drove in three runs as Sturgeon Bay beat Gibraltar 4-3 at Memorial Field on Monday. The Vikings took the lead in the 2nd inning on an Austin Bauldry 2-run home run. Giesseman drove in Riley Schartner in the bottom of the 2nd before his solo blast to deep right center tied the game in the 4th inning. The Clippers took the lead for good when Chase Mickey scored on an RBI groundout by Robert Wittenburg in the 5th and added another on a Giesseman single in the 6th inning. Will Gonzalez hit a solo home run for Gibraltar in the 7th but the Vikings left the bases loaded. Riley Cordier went the first five innings for the win with Joseph Omilinsky pitched the final two innings for the save.
