Geiger, Isaacson lead Islanders

Washington Island twice rallied from a two run deficit to win at Kolberg, 7-6, in the semi-finals of the Door County League playoffs on Sunday. The Braves took an early 2-0 lead as Jack Peterson hit a home run and Sam Koss added an RBI single. The Islanders tied the game in the top the 7th when Troy Jorgenson hit a two out two run single, only to see Kolberg go back in front in the bottom of the inning on an Austin Rohe two run shot. Washington Island took the lead for good in the top of the 8th, Ben Johnson had an RBI single and Matt Foss with an RBI sacrifice fly before Ben Geiger blasted a three run home run. Jake Schneider and Christian Counard has run scoring singles in the bottom of the 8th before Bennett Isaacson got out of the inning. Alex Johnson picks up the win, Isaacson the save and Caleb Cornell had 3 hits.
