Fuller Finishes Tied For Second

Sevastopol’s Cam Fuller finished in a three-way tie for second at this weekend’s Horizon League Men’s Golf Championships.  Fuller fired a two-over, 74 in Sunday’s final round and finished two shots behind his University of Wisconsin – Green Bay teammate, Chad Ebert.

Fuller and Ebert entered the third and final round tied for second three shots behind Detroit’s Lucas Kim.  However, by the end of their first nine holes both had moved to the top of the leaderboard with Ebert leading Fuller by two shots.  Fuller eagled the first hole of his second nine to move within one of Ebert and then he tied him with four holes to play.

Ebert shot even par to close out his round, while Fuller double bogeyed his second to last hole to finish second at eight-over.  He tied with Loyola’s Alex Cusumano and Butler’s Andrew Wegeng.  Fuller and Ebert were named to the all-tournament team.

The solid play of Fuller and Ebert helped the Phoenix finish second at the Horizon League Men’s Golf Championships, two shots behind Loyola of Chicago (911 to 909).
