Kewaunee beat Southern Door, 4-2, on Tuesday and won the outright Packerland Conference Championship. The Eagles held a 2-0 after 4 innings but the Storm started their rally in the top of the 5th when Cody Bultman singled with 2 outs and would later score on a wild pitch. Kewaunee tied the game in the 6th inning on a Jordan Siebold RBI single that scored Sam Kohnle. After the Eagles left two runners stranded in the bottom of the 6th, Kewaunee had runners on second and third when Ethan Schlies hit a 2 run single to give Kewaunee the lead for good. Logan Brusky (8K) went the distance for the win as Kewaunee won their first baseball championship since 1992. Mitchel Neubauer struck out 8 in the loss and hit an RBI double and Beau Schartner added an RBI single. Michael Larsen singled and doubled for Southern Door.
