The Algoma boys basketball team had their season come to an end after a 42-27 loss to Amherst in WIAA Division 4 sectional semi-final game at Green Bay Southwest on Thursday Night.  The Wolves (17-8) went scoreless for almost the first eight minutes but tied the game at 9-9 before seeing Amherst finish the half on a 12-3 run and a 21-12 halftime lead.  The Falcons (24-1) quickly pushed the lead to double figures early in the second half and Algoma never seriously threatened.  Caleb Lohenry led the Wolves with 8 points and Alex Dellis added 7 in the season ending loss.  Wisconsin football recruit Tyler Biadasz led Ahmerst with 11 points.  The Falcons will play Marathon at Appleton East on Saturday.
