The Sturgeon Bay baseball team won a pair of non-conference game on Saturday at Wild Rose. In the opener, Trent Ehlers needed only 65 pitches while firing a perfect game as the Clippers beat Rosholt, 10-0. Isaac Berkley had two hits and a two RBI and Tanner DeGrave added a two run single in the opening inning. In their second game of the day, Sturgeon Bay was leading Wild Rose 9-5 before the Wildcats rallied to force extra innings. But the Clippers scored six runs in the top of the 8th inning on their way to a 15-9 win. Max Bordeau led the way with four hits while Berkley, Ryan Jacobson, Jake Schneider and Jared Van Bramer all had two hits in the win. Sturgeon Bay improves to (12-4) overall with another non-conference game scheduled for Tuesday vs Bonduel at Memorial Field.
