Southern Door edged Gibraltar, 41-40, in the girls Packerland Conference regular season finale on Thursday Night in Fish Creek. Grace LeGrave made the game winning free throw with 9.3 seconds to play for the Eagles (15-1, 18-4) then Meghan LaCrosse blocked a shot on the defensive end to seal the win. LaCrosse and Gabby Atkins scored 11 points each to lead Southern Door. The Vikings (11-5, 15-7) had scored five straight points to tie the game at 40-40 and were led in scoring by Raina Haleen and Payton Pluff with 9 points each. The Vikings open the WIAA regional tournament on Tuesday vs Algoma on WDOR.
