The Southern Door boys basketball team won their 30th straight Packerland Conference game, 71-39, over Sevastopol in Institute on Tuesday Night. The Eagles (5-0, 6-2) got off to a 22-5 lead, lead 28-14 at the half, and had a comfortable lead throughout the second half. Ryan Claflin finished with a season high 23 points, Kyle Daoust added 13 and Derik LeCaptain added 11. Joe Delveaux scored 8 points in the second half and Nate Everard added a pair of three pointers. Also from the game, LeCaptain passed Al Johnson and moved into fourth place on the Southern Door scoring list. Brent Haberli finished with 11 points and Robbie Pollman added 10 for the Pioneers (0-4, 1-5).
