Eagles Use Big Plays To Beat Algoma

Southern Door dominated the first half of their non-conference game with Algoma on Friday Night.  The Eagles led 28-0 at the break on their way to a 35-8 win over the Wolves at Perry Field.  Mitchel Neubauer opened the scoring with a 1 yard touchdown run before throwing a 10 yard td strike to Mitchell Gerend to make it 14-0.  The Eagles struck for a pair of big plays in the second quarter as Neubauer threw touchdowns of 89 and 50 yards to Sonny Soquet.  Tory Jandrin added his second rushing touchdown of the season late in the third quarter for Southern Door.  Zach Schiesser scored the Wolves only touchdown with Ben Sealey adding the two point conversion.  Neubauer added a pair of interceptions on defense and Jandrin recovered a fumble for the Eagles while Schiesser recovered a fumble and Eliot Prokash had an interception for Algoma.
