Southern Door won the boys and girls team titles at the Packerland Conference Cross Country Meet at Gibraltar on Thursday.
Girls
SD Freshman Gracie Englebert won the girls race in 19:54 while teammate Chloe Volkman finished 2nd. Julia Englebert, Lilly Samuels and Jennifer Vandertie all finished in the top 8 as the Eagles dominated. Megan Stoneman (10th) was Sevastopol’s top runner, McKenna Ash (13th) was Gibraltar’s top finisher and Allison Alberts led Sturgeon Bay.

Boys
The Eagles edged Sevastopol by three points to claim the title. Sophomore Michael Bertrand led the Eagles with a third place finish while Zach Kiedrowski, Jacob Pigeon and Zeb Kielar finished 7th, 8th and 9th to help the Eagles win the championship. Isaiah Spetz, Cory Carlson and Joe Bruno all finished in the top 10 for the Pioneers. Algoma’s Jacob Wahlers won the individual title by besting the field by :40.
