Luxemburg- Casco erupted for four runs with two out in the top of the 7th inning to beat Southern Door 4-0 in a Division 2 regional semi-final at Southern Door on Wednesday. Logan Joniaux fired a three hit shutout for the Spartans setting the stage for the late inning heroics. Aaron Thiry drew a two out walk and advanced to second base on a wild pitch and then scored on an Austin Tlachac RBI single. The Spartans added two more runs in the inning on a throwing error and a Jordan Jorgenson RBI single closed the scoring. Jorgenson, Tlachac and Kyle Routhieaux all had 2 hits for L-C. Zach Marchant had 2 hits and Tory Jandrin doubled for the Eagles. Mitchel Neubauer struck out 9 and had retired 14 of the last 15 batters he faced before the Spartans winning rally. L-C will play at Denmark on Friday for the regional championship. The Vikings beat Valders 5-0.
