Southern Door pounded 17 hits as they beat Oconto 21-10 in the Packerland Conference finale on Monday. The Eagles (6-1) put the game out of reach with a 9-run second inning. Megan Hawkey, Acacia Tupa and Courtney VanHout had 4 RBI’s each. Tupa (Home Run), VanHout and Cheyenne McFarlin had 3 hits while Katie Miller, LaRae Bagnall and Hawkey had two hits. Rachel Andres pitched the first three innings for the win. Kelly Stewart had 3 hits for the Blue Devils while Anrea Cisar, Hannah Miller and Amber Westphal had 2 RBI’s. Southern Door will play at West De Pere on Tuesday.
