The Southern Door boys basketball team opened the game on a 13-0 run and went on the beat Sturgeon Bay, 70-51, on Tuesday Night. The Eagles (3-1, 5-3) held the Clippers scoreless until there was 7:42 left in the half and built a 20 point lead in the second half. The Clippers (2-3, 3-5) closed to within 53-42 with 6:53 to play but the Eagles regained control as Drew Daoust took over the game, finishing with 34 points. Jared Hawkey scored 20 and Taylor Schaefer added 11. Calvin Richard led the Clippers with 14 while Isaak Aune added 11 and Derick Ayala finished with a season high 10.
