Dier Leads Wolves Past Red Raiders

Algoma earned a hard fought win at Pulaski on Monday Night as the Wolves beat the Red Raiders, 43-41.  Anna Dier scored what proved to be the winning basket with less than a minute to play and then blocked a potential tying attempt by Mariah Syzmanski as time expired to keep the Wolves undefeated.  Dier finished with a game high 14 points and Jordan Demmin added 10, including a key three pointer late in the 4th quarter.  Algoma had a seven point lead early in the fourth quarter quickly erased as Haley Splan and McKenna Egnarski combined for 3 three pointers.  Syzmanski finished with 11 points for Pulaski (4-1).
