Freedom beat Northern Door 7-5 to eliminate the Chiefs from the Class A regional at the Sevastopol Town Park on Friday. Northern Door scored 3 runs in the top of the 1st inning and led 4-2 to the bottom of the 3rd before Freedom took a 5-4 lead. The Chiefs closed to within 6-5 in the 6th but would get no closer. Nick Kita had 3 hits to lead Northern Door while Bubba Laughlin added a pair of RBI singles and Drew Tanck singled twice. Denmark will head to the State Tournament in Nekoosa after a 5-0 win over Freedom in the regional championship on Friday Night.
