Defense Sparks Clipper Rally

The Sturgeon Bay boys basketball team won their third straight game after they rallied to beat Algoma, 57-48, on Tuesday Night. The Clippers (4-3) trailed 48-42 with 4:42 to play but outscored the Wolves 15-0 to finish the game. Jack Schmelzer led Sturgeon Bay with 17 points and Spencer Hubbard scored 11 of his 13 points in the final six minutes, including three 3-pointers. Carter Zimmerman led Algoma (0-7) with 21 points while Jackson Schoening added 11 and Trevor Nell 10.
