Registration is open for the 10th annual Golf Challenge to be held Wednesday, July 11, at The Orchards in Egg Harbor.
This golf scramble is a fundraiser for the Door County Business & Education Partnership, a nonprofit organization that was recently recognized with a Business Friend of Education Award from the Wisconsin Department of Public Instruction for its career-awareness and work-based learning programming. The programs, which involve students from all five Door County school districts, include Manufacturing Days, the Door County High School Home Construction Program, 8th Grade Career Day and Inspire Door County.
Entry fee is $125 per player or $500 per foursome and includes driving range use with unlimited balls, lunch, 18 holes of golf with a cart, dinner and prizes. Business sponsorships are also available, starting at $200 for a hole sponsorship with signage.
