Algoma’s Courtney Dart has been named to the Wisconsin Fastpitch Softball Coaches Association All-State Second Team. The Wolves standout was selected as a Utility Player. Coach Terry Dart said that the honor is a nice way for his daughter to close her high school career. Last Tuesday, Dart went 4X6 while playing in the WFSCA Senior All Star game at Zenoff Park in Stevens Point. She was joined by teammate Amanda Mura and Oconto’s Hope Karban on one of the Division 3 teams while Southern Door’s McKayla Dantoin and Amy Englebert and Alex Marks of Luxemburg-Casco also played in the game. Dart will attend UW-Madison in the fall and major in communication disorders and speech language pathology.
