Southern Door overcame a late seven point deficit and beat Valders, 67-65, in a boys WIAA Division 3 tournament game at Valders on Friday. The Eagles (17-4) tied the game at 65-65 with three minutes to play on a pair of free throws from Nate Everard and won the game at the foul line as Alex Daoust made two with 6.1 seconds on the clock. The Vikings (12-13) had a last second shot spin out at the buzzer. Daoust finished with 19, Devin Schinktgen 18 and Everard added 11 for Southern Door while Jared Valleskey finished with 20 points and Peyton Dietrich 19 for Valders. The Eagles will play at Brillion at 7:00 on Saturday for the regional championship. (WDOR)
