Daoust Leads SD to OT Win

Southern Door rallied from a 14 point second half deficit to beat Sturgeon Bay in overtime, 70-64, on Thursday night. The Eagles (11-0, 11-2) trailed 43-29 with 14:02 to play, but Alex Daoust fueled the rally as he scored 30 of his game high 35 points after halftime. Southern Door eventually took a 57-56 lead with 2:34 to play when Daoust banked in a three pointer, but Sturgeon Bay was able to force overtime when they scored a basket with :38 seconds remaining. The Clippers (5-5) scored first in overtime but Southern Door took the lead for good on a Devin Schinktgen (10 points) three pointer with 2:55 to play. Anthony Jennerjohn (13) Spencer Hubbard (12) and Andrew Carbajal (11) led the Clippers.
