The Algoma girls basketball team needed overtime to win their 30th straight Packerland Conference game, 38-35, in Kewaunee on Monday Night. The Wolves (13-0, 16-4) outscored the Storm (9-4, 11-10) 20-5 to close the first half and went to the halftime locker room with a 22-10 lead. Then facing a 29-16 deficit in the 3rd quarter, the Storm ended regulation on a 15-2 run and tied the game on an Ellie Olson three point play with 1:31 to play. Baleigh Delorit (12 points) made four free throws in overtime and Karissa Koss (11 points) had the only field goal for the Wolves. Brooke Geier and Olson had 9 points each for the Storm.
