Sturgeon Bay scored 6 runs in the bottom of the 6th inning and beat Mishicot, 11-8, in a non-conference baseball game at Memorial Field on Tuesday. After allowing 4 runs in the top of the first inning, the Clippers scored twice in the first and two more in the third to tie the game at 4-4. The Indians (1-1) would score single runs in the 4th and 5th innings to take a 6-4 lead. But Sturgeon Bay plated an unearned run in the 5th and would score 6 runs on only 3 hits in the decisive 6th inning. Trevor Jacobson, Auggie Taylor and Jeffrey Alberts had RBI singles in the rally. Ryan Jackson pitched a scoreless inning of relief for the win an added an RBI double. Tanner Kunesh had 3 hits to lead Mishicot while Justin Peterson and Brett Reinhardt had 2 hits each and Wyatt Levenitz added a 2 run double.
