Sturgeon Bay needed extra innings to stay in the Packerland Conference baseball title chase as they beat Peshtigo, 4-3 in 9 innings of Friday at Memorial Field. The Clippers won the game when a Jake Schneider sacrifice fly scored Ryan Jacobson. Schneider pitched 6.1 innings and drove in two runs, Trent Ehlers tripled and scored three runs, Max Bordeau had an RBI double and Abram Abeyta singled twice for Sturgeon Bay. Brandon Eick hit a two run home run for the Bulldogs. Peshtigo (13-2) plays at Southern Door on Monday (WDOR) while the Clippers finish league play at (13-3).
