The Sturgeon Bay boys basketball team moved into a tie with Kewaunee at the top of the league standings after a 74-59 win over the Storm on Friday in Sturgeon Bay. The Clippers (8-1, 9-3) hit seven three pointers in the first half and led 39-26 at the break. The Storm (8-1, 10-3) closed to within 47-40 with ten minutes to play but Sturgeon Bay answered with a 14-4 run and a 61-44 lead. Kewaunee would fight back again, with an 11-0 run to make it 61-55 with 2:53 remaining but the Clippers went 7 of 10 from the foul line to put the game away. Jake Schneider finished with 22, Gunnar Tebon 20 and Andrew Carbajal finished with 14 points for Sturgeon Bay. Kewaunee was led by Alex Rohr (15) Ryan Carmichael (13) and Max Hanrahan 11.
