Clippers Rally Past Eagles

The Sturgeon Bay girls basketball team stayed undefeated in the Packerland Conference with a 51-48 win at Southern Door on Tuesday Night.  Trailing 42-35 to start the 4th quarter, the Clippers outscored the Eagles 16-6 in the final eight minutes for the win.  Sturgeon Bay took the lead for good when Linnea Schmelzer hit a 17 foot jumper with about 1:00 to play.  Schmelzer finished with a game high 19 points for the Clippers.  Courtney Van Hout had 16 points for the Ealges (0-2) while Rachel Andres and Cheyenne McFarlin scored 12 each.
