Sturgeon Bay took over sole possession of second place in the boys Packerland Conference standings with a 62-49 win over Algoma on Tuesday Night. After leading 26-19 at the half, the Clippers (7-2) outscored the Wolves (6-3) 21-8 in the third quarter to take control of the game. Tre Bumgardner scored all 19 points of his points in the second half while Riley Schartner added 17 points and Nathan Abrahamson chipped in 14. Sturgeon Bay made 10 3-pointers in the game. Algoma was led by Travis Kostichka with 15 points while Jake Wiese added 12 points and Hunter Prokash 10 points.
