The Sturgeon Bay/Sevastopol wrestling team is hosting the annual Dirk Sorenson Door County Classic this Saturday in Sturgeon Bay. Head Coach Trevor Hasenjager says that over 20 teams are expected for a full day of wrestling….
Teams from Oconto, De Pere, Denmark, Crivitz, New Holstein, Florence, Green Bay West, Gillett, Freedom, Menominee Indian, Lourdes Academy, Two Rivers, Oshkosh North, Valders, Ahmerst, Wrightstown, Milwaukee Marshall, Little Chute, Iron Mountain and Lodi are expected. Coach Hasenjager says that there are a couple of reasons why they host the tournament….
Competition is expected to begin by 9:00 and continue into the early evening hours.
