Clippers Hit 10 Three’s / Eagles Defend Title

Sturgeon Bay beat Gibraltar, 75-63, in a boys Packerland Conference basketball game at Sturgeon Bay on Thursday Night.  The Clippers (8-6, 11-11) saw Gibraltar go on a 20-6 run late in the first half as the teams enter the halftime locker room at 35-35.  After eight lead changes to start the second half, Sturgeon Bay’s Ryan Jackson, Austin Lardinois and Mitchell Jackson hit three pointers on consecutive possessions to extend the lead to 62-52 and the Vikings (2-12, 6-16) would get no closer than seven down the stretch.  Ryan Jackson led the Clippers with 21 points, Lardinois added 17 and Connor Gajda added 15.  Thor Johnson led Gibraltar with 19 points, Tyler Kropuenske added 17 and Anthony Laughlin finished with 15.
