Clippers Drop Opener in OT

The Sturgeon Bay boys basketball team lost their season opener, 52-43 in overtime at Wrightstown on Saturday Night.  The Clippers took their first lead late in the 3rd quarter but a Tigers timeout allowed the hosts to get back into the game.  Sturgeon Bay had possession with the game tied at 39-39 with :06 seconds to play but their attempt at a winning three pointer was blocked.  Wrightstown made 22 of 28 free throws while the Clippers made 4 of 8 attempts.  Matt Van Bramer scored 14 points to lead Sturgeon Bay.
