Sturgeon Bay won their second WIAA Division 2 Regional Championship in the last three years with a 5-1 win over Luxemburg-Casco at Memorial Field on Thursday. Joseph Omilinsky fired a 4-hitter to pick up the win for the Clippers. Sturgeon Bay scored twice in the 2nd inning as Riley Schartner and Keith Lehmann singled and both would score on wild pitches. David Van Dreese hit a solo home run in the third inning while Lehmann would add an RBI single to score Justin Krause in the 5th and an Omilinsky RBI single scored Christian Foss in the 6th inning. Cole Kirchman drove in Aaron Thiry with an RBI single for the Spartans. Sturgeon Bay will play Fox Valley Lutheran at 2:00 on Tuesday in Denmark.
