Clippers beat Eagles

The Sturgeon Bay girls basketball team won their third straight game on Friday Night with a 49-39 win at Southern Door.  Linnea Schmelzer’s basket to end the first quarter gave the Clippers the lead for good.  Schmelzer scored 11 of her gave high 17 points in the first quarter.  The Clippers (5-5. 7-9) also had double digit scoring efforts from Bailey Zak (13 points) and Amelia Campbell (10 points).  Cheyenne McFarlin scored 16 points to lead the Eagles (3-7, 6-9) while Amy Englebert added 13.
