Peshtigo beat Southern Door, 4-1, in a Packerland Conference softball game in Brussels on Monday. The loss knocks the Eagles into a tie with Algoma heading into the final day of the league season. The Bulldogs scored two unearned runs in the first inning and the Eagles could never catch up. Grace Meyers and Grace Wickman combined to pitch the win for Peshtigo while Kennedy Chmela (2 RBI) Dreya Detry and Karli Cahill all had two hits. Jackie Atkins had two hits (double) Grace LeGrave tripled and Lexy Wery walked three times for Southern Door. The Eagles (13-2) play at Kewaunee today while Algoma (13-2) plays at Oconto.
