Ahnapee beat Gibraltar, 6-1, in a Fox River Valley East Division American Legion baseball game at Memorial Field on Thursday. The Trailblazers scored unearned runs in each of the first two innings to lead 2-0 and Gibraltar scored their only run in the top of the 3rd on an RBI double from Trevor Reinhardt that scored Casey Weddig. But Ahnapee answered back with with four runs in the bottom of the third to take control. Ryan Jacobson and Anthony Moore singled in front of a Jake Moeller walk and Jaeger Brusky followed with a three run triple down the right field line to bust the game open. Jacobson (3 hits) & Brusky (2 hits) led Ahnapee at the plate and Jeffrey Alberts (4.1IP) and Derik LeCaptain pitched for the Trailblazers.
