Kewaunee County beat Sturgeon Bay 1-0 on Friday Night to take control of the FRV East Division. Logan Brusky tossed a 6 hit shutout and beat the Bays for the second time this season. The Lakers scored their only run of the game in the bottom of the 6th inning. Jake Thyes singled to open the inning and Dan Dorner doubled with one out before Tyler Codr blooped a base hit over a drawn in infield that allowed Thyes to score. Austin Rohe doubled in the 7th inning for Sturgeon Bay but was left stranded. Kewaunee County improved to (7-0) in the league while Sturgeon Bay completed their league schedule at (9-3).
