Brewers Look To Finish Off Diamondbacks

The Milwaukee Brewers will go for a three game sweep of the Arizona Diamondbacks tonight when the National League Division Series continues in Phoenix.  The Brewers have a two games to none lead in the best of five series.  A victory would give the Brewers their first playoff series win since 1982 and they would advance to the N-L Championship Series for the first time in franchise history.  Milwaukee manager Ron Roenicke knows it won’t be easy closing out Arizona in their home park…

Shaun Marcum gets the start for the Brewers tonight.  In the regular season, the righty was 13 and 7 with an ERA of 3.54.  Marcum made one start against the Diamondbacks this season and gave up four runs in six innings in a no-decision…

Arizona counters with Josh Collmenter.  The rookie righthander went 10 and 10 in the regular season with an ERA of 3.38.  He made two starts against the Brewers and went 1 and 0 while not allowing a run in fourteen innings.  Tonight’s game can be heard on 93-9 FM WDOR.  Coverage begins at 8 with first pitch from Chase Field at 8:30.
