Kolberg beat West Jacksonport, 4-3, in a Door County League playoff game in Kolberg on Sunday. The Ports took a 2-0 lead in the top of the 3rd inning on a Derek Niedzwiecki home run, but the Braves answered with two of their own on an Austin Rohe sacrifice fly and Austen Dart RBI single in the bottom half of the inning. Kolberg took their first lead in the 5th when Charlie Neinas drew a bases loaded walk but West Jacksonport tied the game at 3-3 when Paul Briney was awarded home after a balk in the 6th. The Braves plated the deciding run in the 8th when Kyle Daoust scored an unearned run. Jake Schneider pitched 3.1 innings of relief for the win as Braves ace Trevor Reinhardt took himself out of the game in the top of the 6th inning. Rohe finished with two hits and Reinhardt doubled for Kolberg, Woody Schartner had 2 hits to lead West Jacksonport.
